This works awesome for my vent to get through the wall, I did use abs adhesive to bond it to my elbow. now its a solid connection!

this extension is about 8 in long. A brick wall from the brick face to the sheetrock face is about 10 to 12 in. This extension needs about 3 1/2 in more to work with a brick wall.
